AISH in Canada stands for Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped and is a financial and health assistance program for adults with disabilities. To qualify for the program, adults must have a permanent disability that has a sever eeffect on their ability to earn a liveable income.

Eligible adults to the AISH program can also enjoy other types of assistance to supplement the core program, including both personal and child benefits. Benefits of the AISH program can also extend its assistance to dependents of the client, including children and partner cohabitating with them. Aside from a severe disability, the AISH program also has limits regarding maximum income for both the client and any cohabitating partner.
