What is another name for the Belcher

Another name for the Belcher's sea snake is the faint-banded sea snake. This snake tends to be docile and not very aggressive, and it is erroneously dubbed the world's most poisonous snake, although that distinction belongs to the inland taipan.

The Belcher's sea snake must be severely mistreated before it will bite since it has a very timid temperament. When it does bite, it doesn't inject a lot of venom. Generally, this snake, which lives in the water, bites fishermen handling a net where it has become entangled. It is found in the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Thailand and in the waters off the Solomon Islands.
