Where is Antelope Canyon located in Arizona?

Antelope Canyon is located east of Page, Arizona in Coconino County. Because Antelope Canyon is located on land owned by the Navajo nation, the road to the canyon is gated, and only authorized tour guides are allowed to enter.

Antelope Canyon is also known as Corkscrew Canyon. It is actually composed of two smaller canyons, Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. They are both located within the boundaries of the LeChee chapter of the Navajo nation near the Lake Powell area. Upper Antelope Canyon is called Tsé bighánílíní, which means "The place where water runs through rocks" in the Navajo language.
