Who is Arnold Murray?

Arnold Murray was the founder and senior pastor of Shepherd's Chapel, a Christian church based in Gravette, Ark. Since 1985, Shepard's Chapel has produced and distributed a daily, hour-long program. Each episode focuses on a specific scripture from the Bible.

Arnold Murray was born April 20, 1929 and died on July 14, 2013. There is conflicting information as to the cause of his death but most sources agree the cause was a heart attack. Following Murray's death in 2014, his son, Dennis Arnold Murray, took over as senior pastor of Shepherd's Chapel.

Murray did not believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. While he claimed to possess a PhD, no documentation of this claim is available.
