The first novel of the "Seekers" series is "The Quest Begins." It was first published in November 2007 through the HarperCollins FirstLook Program. It was officially released May 27, 2008.

Erin Hunter's "Seekers" series tells the exciting adventure of four bears named Kalik, Ujurak, Lusa and Toklo. In the first novel "The Quest Begins," the four bear cubs get separated and have to survive on their own. "The Quest Begins" is the first of a long series of novels published by HarperCollins. Erin Hunter is actually a pseudonym for the team of authors that co-write the series. The real authors are Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, Gillian Phillip, Inbali Iserles and Tui Sutherland.
