What are Assi Plaza food stores?

Assi Plaza food stores are grocery stores that specialize in authentic Asian produce, meats, ingredients and prepared food. Assi Plaza stores typically have most of the conveniences found in conventional American grocery stores, such as pharmacies, bookstores and food courts.

As of 2015, Assi Plaza has store locations in Duluth and Suwanee, Georgia; Niles, Illinois; and North Wales, Pennsylvania. The store stocks many of the same brand names available in Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and other Asian grocery stores. Many different Asian housewares and cooking utensils are available at Assi Plaza stores as well. The chain opened its first store in 1993.
