What is the average MAT score?

According to Pearson Education, the average score on the Miller Analogies Test is about 400. Possible scores range from 200 to 600 on this mental ability test.

People who have taken the MAT receive two scores. Each test-taker's raw score is converted to a scaled score between 200 and 600. A percentile rank is also provided; this number indicates where a score falls in relation to other test-takers and runs from 1 to 99. For instance, a percentile rank of 55 indicates that a test-taker scored better than 55 percent of the other test-takers. Scaled scores and percentile ranks are based on results from groups that previously took the MAT.
