The Baby Lock company has a line of sewing machines, embroiderers and sergers that have models for all levels of expertise. The Baby Lock brand originated in Japan, but it was brought to the U.S. more than 45 years ago.

A small businessman who sold sewing machine repair parts brought over the Baby Lock brand serger from Japan to the U.S., making it the first home serger sold in America. The line of sergers features patented technologies, such as forced air threading.

The Baby Lock brand products are not sold online: only in authorized retail stores. All retailers are trained thoroughly on the products so that they can answer any questions a customer may have about the Baby Lock brand.
