What are some basic fence supplies?

Basic fence supplies include posts, nodes and fabric. Posts are the vertical members that are anchored in the ground. Nodes connect multiple sections of fencing for corners or gates. Fence fabric is what creates a vertical between each side of the fence.

There are many varieties of fences, including wood, chain link or vinyl. Each fence type is constructed using the same basic supply concepts. Wood fence fabric is often referred to as picket and is attached by a horizontal member connecting each post. Chain link fences use metal posts anchored by concrete and specialty connectors for nodes. Vinyl fences come in a many varieties and may be designed to replicate a wood or metal fence.
