What are some basic rugby rules?

A rugby match consists of two halves that are each 40 minutes in length. Each team is allowed a maximum of 15 players on the field at any given time. There is no stoppage time and the game ends precisely at the end of the 80th minute.

The clock stops if the ball goes out of bounds, a player is fouled, or a player scores a try or drop goal. Attacking players are called offsides if they are not behind the ball while in position to receive or interfere with the ball. The playing field from end to end is approximately 100 meters long and 70 meters wide.
