Commonly known as Dance Mat Typing, BBC keyboarding is an interactive online game for kids that allows them to learn keyboard typing. The game features four levels, each divided into three distinct categories.
The important aspects of the game include using the correct fingers, avoiding rushing and resting the wrists on the desk. Kids start the game by learning the home row keys, and each stage expands on past lessons. Each stage has a song that users can listen to while typing, making the experience fun and enjoyable. BBC recommends covering the hands using a simple wooden or cardboard box while typing to avoid looking at the hands.
