What is a beagle pointer mix?

A Beagle and Pointer dog breed mix is called a Boingle. Boingles are sweet and playful and make excellent family dogs. These medium-sized dogs weigh between 50 and 60 pounds when fully grown.

Boingles have soft, floppy ears and long noses. Their short coats are typically tri-colored with tan, black and white spots. They require very little grooming, but they do shed heavily. Boingles are very active and require a lot of exercise. They are very friendly and love to meet new people, but they also bark loudly to alert owners when new people come to the house. This makes them good guard dogs.
