What is a Wheaten Terrier and a Poodle mix called?

A dog that is a mix between a poodle and a soft-coated Wheaten terrier is called a whoodle, a Swheat-n-poo or a Sweatenpoo, depending on the dog breeding club it is registered with. Whoodle is often used when discussing the mix in general.

Both poodles and Wheaten terriers have soft, fluffy coats. The Wheaten terrier's fur is wavy, whereas the poodle's is curly and tightly kinky. The coats of whoodles display a range of lengths and textures that may be anywhere along the spectrum displayed by their parent breeds. They come in miniature, medium or standard sizes, similar to the size classes of poodles. Wheaten terriers only come in one size class.
