What is NIKEiD footwear?

NikeiD is Nike's customizable shoe service. By going online to Nike.com, visiting a NikeiD studio, or using the NikeiD app, customers have the ability to customize, personalize, and design their own shoes. When finished, the customer receives the shoes by mail.

NikeiD allows the customer to chose aspects of the shoes' color, material, franchise (such as Air Force 1 or Air Max), and athletic use. The customer can create shoes for various athletics, including running, soccer and basketball. Created in 1999, NikeiD was initially only available online. As of August 2015, it is available in 102 in-store studios around the world.
