A Beka curriculum is a Christian curriculum for use in Christian schools and for children who are homeschooled. The founders of A Beka, Dr. Arlin and Mrs. Beka Horton, created the curriculum over 40 years ago and refined it through use at Pensacola Christian College.
The educational approach of the A Beka curriculum is based on biblical principles. It presents the Bible in the narrative style in which it is originally written and ties all subjects to biblical reference. The A Beka curriculum covers reading, writing, history, math, science, health, English and the Bible. Books and materials for teaching this curriculum are available in both hard copy and digital formats.
