Blue Great Dane puppies at 6 months old weigh 65 to 100 pounds and stand 26 to 33 inches tall. These dogs grow very quickly during the first year, moving from 1 pound at birth to 95 to 140 pounds at 1 year.
Great Danes continue to grow for two to three years, and adult males can stand as tall as 36 inches and weigh as much as 170 pounds. Great Danes also come in a variety of coat colors, including fawn, brindle, blue, black, harlequin and mantle. The coat color of a Great Dane does not affect its size.
