How big is Venus compared to Earth?
By Forinfos - 01/03/2025 - 0 comments
Venus possesses approximately 80 percent of the mass of Earth and has a diameter that is only slightly smaller. Sometimes referred to as Earth's sister planet due to their comparable sizes, Venus shares a few similar characteristics with Earth, but has far more differences.
Venus is the second planet from the Sun and is a rocky terrestrial planet, just like Earth. A volcanic world, the surface of Venus is dominated by flat lava-hardened plains. Temperatures and the atmospheric pressure on Venus are considerably higher than those that are found on Earth, and the planet rotates only once every 243 Earth days.
