Where is the Bigfoot Capital of the World?
By Forinfos - 12/03/2026 - 0 comments
Willow Creek, California refers to itself as the Bigfoot Capital of the World, a nickname that it backs up with events such as an annual Bigfoot festival. Those who associate California with sunny coastlines may be confused by this designation, but Willow Creek is located in a heavily forested, mountainous part of the state that is close to the Oregon border.
Bigfoot could theoretically call Willow Creek home; that's if the creature can successfully be proven to exist. There are plenty of Bigfoot attractions in the town, including statues, murals, a Bigfoot museum and businesses named in the creature's honor.
