What is a boiler gasket?
By Forinfos - 08/07/2025 - 0 comments
A boiler gasket is a gasket that is applied to a boiler to reduce leaking and corrosion. Boiler gaskets prolong boiler life by reducing the maintenance needed to replace parts damaged by heat and water.
Boiler gaskets are typically molded from rubber and designed to fit a boiler snugly without over tightening. Many gaskets are chemical-resistant to prevent corrosion from the chemicals used in the boiler water. As of 2015, newer gasket models often need no additional adhesives and conform straight to the boiler surfaces. Boiler gaskets are designed to be easy to install and replace, and most manufacturers offer a various range of sizes to fit all boiler types.
