Does Bosch make good dishwashers?

Bosch dishwashers have been the top-rated dishwasher for years, according to Consumer Reports as of 2015. The only time they have been topped in prior years was in 2013, when the Kenmore Elite was rated slightly quieter and with less water usage, but at a cost of $500 more.

Bosch brand dishwashers are considered one of the best values in appliances by Consumer Reports. The 95-minute wash cycle, which was faster than most brands tested, as well as the cleaning performance, energy efficiency and relatively quiet operation were given as reasons. Favorable features listed included a delayed cycle start and adjustable upper racks and tines.
