Where is Bosnia located on a world map?

On a western-centric world map such as the Peters Projection, which places the North Pole at the top of the image, Bosnia is to the right of northern Italy, across the Adriatic sea. Its capital, Sarajevo, is roughly in line with Florence in latitude.

Bosnia is situated on the Balkan peninsula in southeastern Europe. It is not a country in its own right, but is rather the northern portion of the country known as "Bosnia and Herzegovina." The country has only about 12 miles of coastline, being mainly surrounded by Serbia to the east, Croatia to the north, south and west, and Montenegro to the southeast.
