What is a Boxer-Ridgeback mix?

A boxer-ridgeback mix is a cross between a Rhodesian ridgeback and a boxer. Like all mixed-breed dogs, it is difficult to predict the physical and personality traits of this animal. It is recommended to research the characteristics of both parent breeds to gain a better understanding of potential offspring.
Both the Rhodesian ridgeback and the boxer are muscular, powerful breeds. The Rhodesian ridgeback is large, capable of reaching 27 inches in height and weighing up to 90 pounds. The boxer, by comparison, is smaller and more compact but can weigh up to 70 pounds. Both of these breeds are intelligent, obedient and protective, indicating that a mix between the two would likely share these qualities.
