What does "BPA-free" mean?
By Forinfos - 09/05/2026 - 0 comments
BPA-free products do not contain the chemical bisphenol A, which is often used in manufacturing processes to harden plastics. Humans are typically exposed to the chemical by eating food that was stored in containers with BPA.
Research suggests that BPA exposure may affect the brain and other parts of the human body. The exact ways in which the chemical affects human anatomy and physiology are unknown, causing some people to become concerned. Some cities and states already regulate the sale of BPA-containing products.
To minimize exposure to BPA, look for specially labeled BPA-free water bottles and food containers, or use glass, porcelain or metal containers to store food.
