Where is Brazil located?

Brazil is located on the east coast of South America. Its eastern side borders the Atlantic Ocean. It is south of Venezuela, Guyana and Suriname, southeast of Colombia, east of Bolivia and Peru, northeast of Argentina and Paraguay, and north of Uruguay.

Brazil is the largest country in South America and the fifth largest country in the world. The country is home to a number of mountain ranges, including the Mantiqueira, Espinhaço and Serra do Mar. In addition to the Amazon, major rivers include the Paraná River and the Iguaçu River. The capital city of Rio de Janeiro is located on the Atlantic Ocean coast in the southern half of the country.
