What is a breakdown of an acceptable ASVAB score?
By Forinfos - 26/04/2025 - 0 comments
Acceptable ASVAB scores to join the military differ depending on the branch. As of 2014, Air Force recruits must score a minimum of 36 points out of 99 total points possible. Other minimum scores include: Army - 31, Marine Corps - 32, Coast Guard - 40 and Navy - 35.
The ASVAB is only one factor in a branch's decision to admit an applicant. In addition to ASVAB scores, recruits must meet educational requirements for the particular branch they wish to join. The Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps typically require a minimum of a high school diploma. The Army allows more GED holders than the other branches.
