Have Bridgestone tires had any recent recalls?

Bridgestone issued a recall of defective tires in 2013 in the United States and around the world following consumer complaints about air leaks, poor inflation and sidewall cracks. Previously, the company recalled 135,000 tires in 2008 and 6.5 million tires in 2000.

In 2013, Bridgestone recalled more than 40 types of bus and truck tires throughout the world following the discovery of anomalies in the inner liners of these tires. Bridgestone manufactured the faulty tires between 2012 and 2013. In 2008, Bridgestone recalled 135,000 tires imported into the United States and Canada. The company also recalled 6.5 million tires in 2000 following reports of tire-related fatal crashes involving sport utility vehicles.
