What is business attire?

Business attire is clothing that is dressy without being too formal. Business attire is often recommended for meetings, interviews and other business events.

For men, business attire often consists of pressed slacks and button-up, long sleeved shirts. Polo or golf shirts are also good choices along with leather belts and leather shoes.

For women, business attire includes dark pants and skirts paired with sweaters or tailored shirts. Skirts and dresses should be at least knee length. Sweaters and tailored shirts should not reveal any cleavage. Jewelry and other accessories should be kept conservative and subtle. Makeup should also be natural looking.
