How much money do entry-level phlebotomists make?

In 2012, the median pay of phlebotomists was about $29,700 a year, or roughly 14 dollars per hour, and about $21,400 for the lowest 10 percent. This is according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
In 2014, the average wage of entry-level phlebotomists, who collect blood samples and process blood tests, was approximately $12 per hour, according to PayScale, a private-sector company that monitors U.S. wage data. It used data from about 2,500 individuals reporting.
PayScale reports that, in 2014, the median annual salary for these professionals was about $28,700; roughly $20,080 went to the lowest earners and $34,200 to the highest.
