What is a business overview?

A business overview is a section of a business plan. When a business plan is created, it must include a summary of the necessary steps to make the plan work: vision, mission, strategies of work and goals for the business venture. This overview section should be short and concise.

In a business overview, the reader finds a summarized version of the entire business plan. Further on in the document, all of the information expressed in the overview is explained in detail. This section is different from the executive summary because the overview includes the practical terms of the main proposal.
