What is a C7 Cat engine?

A C7 Cat engine is a high-performance diesel engine designed and manufactured by Cat for severe-duty equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, irrigation equipment, aircraft ground support and drill rigs. They are reliable and durable and have low operating costs.

The engine has a power range of 225.0 to 300.0 brake horsepower and rated speed that ranges from 1800 to 2200 revolutions per minute. It meets the emission standards required by EU Stage IIIA Equivalent, U.S. EPA Tier 3 Equivalent and China Stage II. The engine has core engine designs to ensure a smooth operation, maximum reliability and extended time of productive operation.
