What do you call a group of turkeys?

A group of turkeys is called a rafter or gang. Turkeys live and feed together in groups. They live in areas with trees and grasses, in which they feed, roost and nest.

Turkeys are omnivores that eat nuts, seeds, fruits, insects and salamanders. They have a lifespan of 3 to 4 years. Male turkeys have ruffled feathers, a fan-like tail, a bare head and a bright beard. They use their tail feathers to attract females. Female turkeys lay 4 to 17 eggs at a time. The females feed the chicks for a few days after they hatch, but the males have no role in their care.
