What do you call people from Barbados?

People from Barbados are referred to as either Barbadians or Bajans. Roughly 90 percent of Bajans have an Afro-Caribbean heritage. Most of the remaining 10 percent of the population have European decent, with 4 percent being Irish.

Barbados is an island that is its own nation. While it is a Caribbean island, it sits completely in the Atlantic Ocean. Bajans practice Christianity and tend to be religious. They use English as their official language. There is also an informal language that is used by most inhabitants called Bajan. The small island has more people who have lived to 100 years old than any country other than Japan.
