Where can you find a free amortization spreadsheet?

A free amortization spreadsheet is available on Download.com in .zip file format, as of 2015. Amortization formulas are embedded in the Excel spreadsheet. Release notes and a license agreement are also included.

The spreadsheet calculates monthly payment information for a fixed-rate loan. The rates and payment frequency are adjustable, and the ending values can be calculated to the nearest penny.

From the Download.com main page, type “amortization schedule” in the search box. Click the red Download Now button to the right of Amortization Schedule for Excel. Depending on your browser settings, the folder appears in your browser or the folder downloads to your hard drive.
