Who can apply for a CVS ExtraCare card?

Any customer can apply for an ExtraCare card from CVS pharmacy by either filling out an application or through the app that is available for smartphones. The ExtraCare card earns customers reward points that can be used for discounts on future shopping trips or order.

The points can be earned daily, but some items are excluded from earning points like alcohol, lottery tickets, prescriptions, stamps and tobacco products. When cashing in ExtraCare savings or the quarterly bonus bucks, it is advised that the amount of the purchase be equal to or greater than the amount of savings saved on the card. This is because they must be used in one trip, as they do not roll over from one period to the next.
