When can babies roll over?
By Forinfos - 25/02/2025 - 0 comments
Babies can begin rolling over as early as 4 months, but most babies begin rolling between 5 and 6 months. Babies usually roll from belly to back first and then from back to belly. Placing the baby on his or her tummy, while he or she is awake, encourages rolling.
Rolling is most babies' first mode of movement. Some babies roll purposefully toward objects they want. Other babies prefer to roll to their stomach so they can begin to scoot or crawl. Every baby is different. If a baby is not rolling, or attempting some other mode of locomotion by six months, his or her parent should consult a pediatrician.
