Can bleach kill weeds and grass?

Bleach is an effective way to kill weeds, but it also kills any grass it comes in contact with. The best way to use bleach to kill weeds is to spray it into crevices and cracks on the sidewalk where the weeds tend to pop up.
A good weed-killing solution using bleach includes water, dish soap and salt. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, and then add about 1 cup of salt for every cup of water. After it cools, put a couple of drops of dish soap in it. Pour this solution into a plastic bucket, and then add as much bleach as desired. Pour this mixture into a spray bottle with a funnel, and be sure to wear gloves and to not get any bleach on the skin.
