Bleach can be used to kill grass and weeds when mixed with water. It is important to apply the solution when it doesn't rain for at least 24 hours.
Gardeners can create a bleach solution by pouring 16 ounces of water and 1 ounce of bleach into a spray bottle. The cap should be fixed tightly, and the bottle needs to be well shaken before application. The mixture should be sprayed onto the weed itself and at its base. The weeds should be saturated with the mixture, and the solution must be removed immediately if it gets on any desired plants or grass. The bleach should be applied again after two days if the weeds remain healthy.
