Where can you buy quark?

Murray's Fresh Cheese sells quark on the company's website and use thermal-lined boxes to ship to customers' homes. Quark is a German cow's milk curd that resembles old-fashioned cream cheese. It can be used in place of yogurt and eaten with fruit and granola.

As of 2015, quark lovers can also purchase the dairy product online at Vermont Butter and Cheese Company, Spring Hills Cheese Company or Continental Sausage. Local European groceries and natural food stores also sometimes stock the product and don't require customers to pay expensive shipping fees. The smooth substance can also be made at home with the same bacteria used to make buttermilk.
