Can you buy a replacement EZ pass?

If an E-Z Pass stops working, or a new pass is needed, a replacement E-Z Pass can be purchased. The process can be started through a customer's online account, or at the nearest E-Z Pass location.

The cost varies, depending on whether an interior or exterior tag needs to be purchased. The cost of an interior tag is $16.00, while an exterior tag costs $22.00.

There are 15 states that use the E-Z Pass system. Drivers can travel from Maine to North Carolina without stopping for toll collection booths. Other states that participate are Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
