Where can I buy a ruda plant?

Ruda plants can be purchased online or in many local nurseries. As of 2014, Maggie's Herb Farm in St. Augustine, Fla., sells rue plants. Sandy Mush Herb Nursery sells the blue mound and jackman blue variations of rue in Leicester, N.C.

Ruda is an aromatic herb, also called rue. The scientific name is ruta graveolens. Rue is a native of the Mediterranean region and is a good ornamental plant for herb gardening. This herb plant has a nice mounding habit and small, very pungent evergreen leaves, and tiny yellow flowers grow above the attractive foliage. Rue also works nicely in rock gardens.
