Where can you get CNC machinist training?
By Forinfos - 18/01/2026 - 0 comments
Computer numerically controlled machinist training, also called CNC machinist training, is offered at most trade schools, such as Lincoln Technical Institute, Gateway Technical College and NTMA Training Centers of California. CNC machinist training is usually combined with manufacturing technology training when taught as a trade.
CNC machining and manufacturing technologies training typically requires an apprenticeship in the field, which can take up to four years before a machinist is prepared to work without supervision. As of 2015, machinists on average make around $41,000 per year, with the lower earning machinists earning around $25,000 per year and the highest earners making over $60,000 per year.
