Where can you compare prices on furnaces?

The easiest way to compare furnace prices is to search the websites of retailers that offer different brands, such as Home Depot or Lowe's. Each of these sites has a compare function which allows up to four different furnaces to be viewed at once.

Depending on the website, the user may select the brand, BTU rating, price range and if the furnace uses electricity, natural gas, oil or propane. Of the two sites, Home Depot offers a wider selection of brands. The user selects the furnaces, clicks on the "Compare" button and can then access all four unit descriptions. Once in the compare screen, further information is available by clicking on the individual furnace listing.
