Where can you find a county tax map?

A nationwide county tax map is available on the Brookings Institute website, as of 2015. It shows what the average household paid in property taxes for every county in the United States between the years of 2007 and 2011.

Brookings Institute also provides a county tax map displaying the average income tax paid per household in each county and a map of income taxes paid as a percentage of average income. These county tax maps only include households that provided a federal income tax return, a limiting factor for any county tax map.

The highest taxes, and therefore the richest counties, are generally clustered around cities.
