How can you crop a photo in the Windows Basic Paint program?

To crop a photo using Paint in Windows, click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, and click Paint. Once in Paint, open the photo you want to crop by clicking the Open button and selecting the photo.

On the Home tab in Paint, click Select in the Image group. When the selector appears on the photo, drag it to select the area you want to keep in the photo, and click the Crop button. When finished, click the Paint button, and click Save as. Select a file type to save the cropped photo as, enter a file name in the File name text box, and click the Save button to save the photo.
