What is the Can Crusher Project?

The Can Crusher Project is a project that the CCC Engineering and Consulting is undertaking to build a machine that is able to reduce the volume of cans down to 70 percent at a minimum. They are working on this project after receiving a request for it.

To design the can crusher, the group did research on previous innovations in recycling and looked at different processes that developers have worked on in the past several years. The group is focusing on creating a crusher that is able to crush upwards of 180 cans an hour while meeting the required volume limits.
