It is usually a bad idea to feed dogs poultry bones, including turkey bones. Avoid giving dogs turkey bones whenever possible.
Cooked bones are not good for dogs. Cooked bones, especially poultry bones such as chicken and turkey, can splinter and damage the digestive system and other internal organs of dogs. This is also true for cats and other small animals. Some people think that giving dogs raw turkey bones is acceptable, but it is debatable. Even when raw, the small bones from a turkey can easily splinter and break. It is safer not to risk the potential damage, so do not give your dog turkey bones.
