Where can you download a 2013 printable 1040 tax form?

A printable IRS form 1040 for the 2013 tax year can be downloaded online at the website of the Internal Revenue Service. Tax forms, instructions and other publications for the current and prior tax years are available in the Forms & Pubs section.

At the main page at IRS.gov, select the Forms & Pubs tab on the horizontal bar at the top of the page. Beneath the Forms & Publications heading that appears, select the Prior Year tab. From the list of publications offered, click on the one labeled Form 1040 (2013). The form can be downloaded by choosing a method compatible with your browser.
