Where can you download federal tax forms to print?

Federal tax forms can be downloaded and printed from the Internal Revenue Service's website. Links to some of the most frequently sought forms, such as the 1040, 1040EZ, W-4 and 1099, appear on the left side of the IRS website's main page, under the Forms and Pubs banner.

Users who do not see the form they need on the main page can either click More, under the list of forms, or Forms & Pubs in the top navigation. The Forms & Publications page includes a list of forms, or users can select Find All Current Forms & Pubs, and enter the form they are looking for in the search box. Once they locate the form, they can click the link to download and print the PDF file.
