Diflucan, also known as fluconazole, is a fungal and yeast infection remedy. It is an oral treatment that is taken with or without food. Typically, Diflucan is only taken once a day. Side effects can include nausea, vomiting, headache, stomachache, diarrhea, and dizziness. WebMD recommends patients speak with a doctor if these side effects become severe or a rash, swelling, itchiness or other side effects develop. While rare, there can be allergies to Diflucan.
