Can enamel regrow on teeth?

According to WebMD, enamel is not composed of living tissue, and as a result, it cannot regenerate or regrow after sustaining damage. Discovery Health says that enamel damage is treatable via artificial forms of restoration.
Minor damage to the enamel is often fixable by using fluoride treatments, according to Discovery Health. Moderate damage is repairable by using plastic fillings in molars or ceramic veneers on front teeth. Finally, the most severe damage needs treatment with a combination of inlays, veneers, crowns and bridges. Repairing some damage may be impossible and may require extraction and replacement with implants or dentures, but this is rare.
